Usage and Purchase Information

This page is informational: it gathers the current status of The Red Apple and the facts about licensing and purchases in one place. It is not a new contract.

App status

The Red Apple is currently in testing via TestFlight; it is not yet published on the App Store, and sales are not open.

Licence

When The Red Apple is published on the App Store, it is distributed under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA): Apple Standard EULA. This page does not replace that agreement.

Purchases and refunds

• Pro is a one-time purchase; it is not a subscription.
• Payment, billing and refund processes are handled entirely by Apple.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's current refund policy; you can submit them to Apple through the App Store.

Your data and backups

• Your goal data is stored on your device; taking and keeping backups is in your hands.
• Keeping the recovery key of your encrypted backups is your responsibility. If the key is stored on your device, it can be shown again from the app's backup section; if no matching key can be found anywhere, the developer cannot decrypt an old backup.
• The readable export files in Pro are not encrypted; keep that in mind before sharing them.

Provided as-is

The app is provided "as is"; it is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. This page does not limit your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
